Marc has been with Clevedon Salerooms for
over 35 years. He has a wealth of
experience across many subjects and his
particular specialities are 18th and 19th
Century furniture, pottery and porcelain.
Marc’s time is divided between Professional
Valuations for Tax and Insurance purposes,
research and cataloguing for the Specialist
Sales, conducting auctions and also visits
to private clients for Sale valuations.

On sale day while Marc is on the rostrum,
Marianne can usually be found in the office
dealing with the large number of commission
bids, often arriving from around the globe,
as well as overseeing the administrative
tasks associated with the auction.

Mark Fraser -

Valuer

Mark is a Senior Valuer and has worked at Clevedon Salerooms
for over 30 years. He has a broad
knowledge of Antiques and Fine Art
specialising in all aspects of the 20th
Century. He manages the considerable
logistical task of preparing and cataloguing
the sales and conducts Valuations in house
for Tax, Insurance and Sale purposes.

Pinn BA MRICS
Chartered Arts & Antiques Surveyor

Toby has been with the firm for over 10
years, is a RICS Chartered Arts & Antiques
Surveyor and has sat on the board of the RICS
Arts & Antiques Professional Group.
He has a degree in fine arts
valuation, conducts auctions, prepares
valuations for inheritance tax and insurance
purposes and visits private clients for sale
valuations.

Tricks FRICS - Consultant

George has over 50 years experience in
valuing and auctioning Fine Art. He
was partner in charge of the auction side of
his family firm in Bristol for many years
and has conducted a number of important
country house Fine Art Sales in Bristol and
the surrounding counties.

Sheena Stoddard
BA, M.Litt - Fine Art Consultant

Sheena worked in the Fine Art department at
Bristol Museum & Art Gallery for 27 years
and was Curator of Fine Art there from
1997-2011. She has two degrees in the
History of Art and has published
extensively, particularly on Bristol
artists, and has a wide knowledge of western
European art.

Caroline Coles - Office Manager & Accounts

Caroline has worked at Clevedon Salerooms
for 25 years and is the office manager and
deals with the accounts. She is also
the IT administrator.

requests and the photography for the

Zoe McGowan - Assistant Cataloguer

Zoe has recently joined the salerooms having
spent the last 12 years in a retail
jewellery environment where she gained her
professional Jewellers diploma (P.J.Dip).
Zoe assists in the cataloguing and
sale of Silver & Jewellery and helps with
the general client administration.
