Final weekend to see Leonardo in Bristol
3rd May 2019
May bank holiday weekend offers the final chance to see the collection of Leonardo da Vinci drawings from the Queen's Collection on display at Bristol City Museum & Art Gallery. Five hundred years after his death, the art, ingenuity and musings on all aspects of the world that surrounded this Renaissance man continue to intrigue audiences around the globe. Toby from Clevedon Salerooms recommends taking your reading glasses, (if you have need of them); his second visit to the exhibition was vastly improved as a result!
23rd May Interiors & Collectables Auction
With the television cameras present for an episode of ‘The Antiques Road Trip’, along with competing contestants Angus Ashworth and Arusha ‘Roo’ Irvine (and of course their lots!), the saleroom was buzzing as usual, and over 90% of lots sold - as is standard at this saleroom.
