Final weekend to see Leonardo in Bristol
3rd May 2019
May bank holiday weekend offers the final chance to see the collection of Leonardo da Vinci drawings from the Queen's Collection on display at Bristol City Museum & Art Gallery. Five hundred years after his death, the art, ingenuity and musings on all aspects of the world that surrounded this Renaissance man continue to intrigue audiences around the globe. Toby from Clevedon Salerooms recommends taking your reading glasses, (if you have need of them); his second visit to the exhibition was vastly improved as a result!
Lots to look forward to.
We have plenty of lots ready for our next Quarterly Specialist Sale of Antiques, Fine Art and Collectors' Items. Highlights will include a limited edition Grayson Perry 'Recipe for Humanity' embroidery sampler, pair of german silver stirrup cups, art works by Edwin Penny and E.A.Chadwick and a great selection of ceramics, furniture, coins and collectables.
