Toby Pinn MRICS
Director, Regulated Chartered Arts & Antiques Surveyor
The only regulated chartered art & antiques surveyor operating exclusively in the Bristol Area, Toby joined the firm in 2000 from the Hamptons Saleroom in Marlborough and has a degree in fine arts valuation. He conducts auctions, undertakes RICS certified ‘Red Book’ valuations for inheritance tax and insurance purposes and visits clients for sale valuations. A trustee of the Friends of Bristol Museums Galleries & Archives, member of the Arts Society, Regional Furniture Society and Antique Metalware Society, Toby is in demand for talks and lectures to groups across the region and hosts numerous charity auctions each year. His particular area of interest is 20th Century Design.
Before taking up the gavel, many moons ago Toby lived in France for four years pursuing a career as a racing cyclist, representing Great Britain on a few occasions. Having conceded defeat in the battle against gravity Toby has replaced cycling up mountains with skiing down them, retaining a passion for all things French.
